Create a sweet and gooey grilled Nutella sandwich with a chocolaty spread that’s completely dairy-free!
We can all agree grilled sandwiches are a simple go-to lunch or snack option. While the usual ’wich calls for a slice of savory meat, we went for something a bit sweeter. Trust us when we say that chocolate on a sandwich makes for a really amazing post-dinner snack.
Choose Your Favorite Grain-Free Bread
To make this sandwich Paleo-friendly, you can either use a homemade Paleo bread or find a premade version at your local health food store. Our recipe calls for a bread that uses coconut flour, but there are plenty of other options that use almond flour, cashew flour, or cassava flour.

How to Make the Filling Guilt-Free
While we all love the original hazelnut spread, there’s no denying that it’s chock-full of sugar. Instead, we went with this DIY Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Butter as a healthier option that offers a creamy cocoa taste. With that said, this may become your daily breakfast (or dessert) option.
