All you need is 10 minutes of hands-on time. Begin by pitting the dates, then stuff each date with a whole almond. Wrap each date with a slice of thick cut bacon and then secure it with a toothpick so the bacon stays intact.
Place the dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Flip the bacon wrapped dates over and roast for 15 more minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the fat has been rendered. Serve these delicious appetizers while they’re still hot!
Tip: For a creamy filling, you can stuff the dates with a teaspoon of cashew cream in place of almonds.

- Parchment paper
- 20 toothpicks
Ingredients
- 20 Medjool dates, pits removed
- 20 almonds
- 10 slices of thick cut bacon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stuff each date with an almond.
- Cut each slice of bacon into half lengthwise, so you have 20 slices of bacon.
- Wrap each stuffed date with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
- Place the bacon-wrapped dates seam side down in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the bacon is crispy, flipping the dates over halfway.
- Serve immediately.
