Swap out graham crackers with crispy apple slices topped with melted dark chocolate and soft marshmallows. Apples are packed with minerals, fiber and antioxidants. This recipe uses green apples for a sweet and tart flavor that works perfectly with dark chocolate.
Whipping these apple s’mores up is easy! Start by halving the apples from the stem to the end, and use a spoon to scoop out the core, seeds and stem. Arrange the apple halves in a dish with the flesh facing up.
