Jazz up your coconut flour pancakes with one (or more!) of these easy, mouth-watering mix-ins.
If your pancakes are in need of a major wake-up call, we have enough Paleo-friendly mix-ins to keep breakfast fun and tasty for the whole family. From fresh fruit to crumbled bacon, there is something to suit every season and mood. Start with your favorite basic pancake recipe (we love this one for fluffy Paleo pancakes) and stir your favorite mix-ins right into the batter!
For hearty flapjacks with a southern twist, stir mashed sweet potato into the batter, and top the finished pancakes with chopped pecans and pure maple syrup. It tastes like pecan pie! You can also make protein pancakes by stirring almond butter into your pancake batter, or add crumbled bacon for a savory-smoky flavor.

If you prefer your pancakes on the sweeter side, we’ve got you covered. For a tropical twist and a bonus of extra fiber, stir in coconut flakes and chopped fresh pineapple. Add fresh blueberries for extra antioxidants and to fight free-radical damage, or add sliced strawberries and top with coconut whipped cream for a pancake that tastes like a strawberry shortcake dessert. For all you chocolate lovers, add raw cacao powder or cacao nibs to the pancake batter for rich chocolate goodness with a healthy dose of magnesium and iron.
