Layered with dark chocolate, coconut and nut butter – these Keto Freezer Snacks are loaded with creamy, healthy fats!
Grab your ice cube trays because you only need five ingredients to layer up these sugar-free, low-carb fat snacks!
Start by slowly simmering cacao paste (cacao nibs ground to a liquid state and solidified at room temperature) and coconut oil until melted and smooth. Let the dark chocolate cool before dividing the mixture evenly between the nine cavities of your ice cube tray. Freeze for ten minutes to set.

Next, add the coconut butter on top. (We recommend making this homemade coconut butter.) Be sure to stir the coconut butter first to ensure the oil is well incorporated. Then, pop the tray back in the freezer again to set.
Top the fat snacks with a final layer of cashew butter. Tip: Use raw cashew butter with no added ingredients, as it will freeze best. Top each fat snack with a single cashew, and freeze for a final ten minutes.
Remove the fat snacks out of the ice cube tray by running a mini spatula or butter knife around the edges to nudge them out. Store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 30 days and enjoy them as a yummy and filling keto-friendly snack!

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- ⅓ cup coconut butter
- ⅓ cup cashew butter
- 9 raw cashews
Instructions
- Add the cacao powder and coconut oil to a saucepan and bring to a low simmer, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from the heat and let cool completely. Divide the liquid evenly between the nine cavities of an ice cube tray, and freeze for 10 minutes.
- Spoon the coconut butter evenly over the cacao base, and freeze for another 10 minutes.
- Spoon the cashew butter evenly over the top of each fat snack, and top with one cashew each. Freeze for another 10 minutes or until solid.
- Pop the fat snacks out of the ice cube tray by running a small spatula around the edges.
