Fresh and light, these grilled peaches can be topped with a scoop of coconut ice cream for an amazing BBQ dessert or served as an elegant side dish.
Fresh, ripe and bursting with flavor, these sweet and healthy stone fruits make for refreshing and simple desserts. Adding peaches to the grill brings out their juicy flavor and intensifies their natural sweetness. All it takes is ten minutes — you’ll be able to smell when they’re ready!
Make sure to use slightly firm peaches for the grill. If they’re too soft, they won’t be able to stand up to the heat, and could possibly melt. When buying peaches, gently squeeze them to make sure they’re a bit hard. They should also be aromatic — fragrant peaches are best for this easy dessert.
Monitor your peaches carefully when they’re on the grill. They might grill faster or slower depending on their level of ripeness. You want some caramelization, but do not want them to burn.

A sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg on the grilled peaches lends a slightly nutty flavor, while enhancing its natural sweetness. A little coconut sugar would also be delicious!
Top your grilled peaches with a scoop of coconut milk ice cream (or any of your other favorite dairy-free ice creams) for a summer dessert — you can either buy some at a local health food store or make your own. You can also enjoy them sans ice cream as a side dish to complement your favorite grass-fed burger.
