The combination of cream of tartar and baking soda gives these bombs their signature fizz. It’s a great alternative to store-bought products and won’t contain harmful fragrances and toxic chemicals. These nourishing bombs are rounded out with all-natural pumpkin pie spices to compliment your bath with one of the best scents of fall.
To whip up these bath bombs, mix the cream of tartar and baking soda with cinnamon essential oil, almond oil, pumpkin spice powder, and a spritz of water to get them to clump. Spoon them into molds of your choice and let them sit overnight. When ready to use, pop one out into your warm bath water for a luxurious fall-scented treat.

Pumpkin Spice Bath Bombs with Cinnamon Essential Oil
Tools
- Medium glass bowl
- Silicone mold
- Paper towel
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cream of tartar
- 1 cup baking soda
- 10 drops cinnamon essential oil
- ½ T almond oil
- 1 T pumpkin spice powder
- Water in a spray bottle
Instructions
- To Make: Add the cream of tartar and baking soda to a bowl, then whisk to combine the mixture.
- Add the cinnamon essential oil and almond oil to the mixture, mix, then lightly spritz with water from your spray bottle. Do this lightly and very slowly (one spritz at a time as you mix) until the mixture is the consistency of wet sand and clumps in your hand when you squeeze it.
- Use a spoon to transfer the mixture to your silicone mold. Make sure it is packed in tightly to the top.
- Sprinkle the tops with your pumpkin spice powder and lightly place a paper towel over the mold to let it dry overnight, or for at least 12 hours.
- To Use: When you’re ready to use the bath bombs, pop them out of the molds and add to warm running water.
