Carrots contain vitamin A which is important for cell growth, maintenance and repair. Celery contains many minerals such as potassium and magnesium which help to hydrate the skin. Apples have a high dose of vitamin C which can help protect against excess free radicals and help produce collagen. Kale has an excellent dose of vitamins A, C and K which are all amazing for supporting skin health. Green powders such as spirulina contain vitamin B6 and iron which can help support the immune system which is essential for healthy skin. Water is simply amazing for supporting radiant skin!

Green Smoothie for Healthy Skin
Ingredients
- 1 large carrot
- 2 large celery stalks
- ½ large apple
- 2 handfuls kale
- 1 to 2 cups water
- Optional: 1 tsp green powder (i.e. kelp, moringa, spirulina or chlorella)
How To Make It:
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired consistency forms. If you want a thicker smoothie add less water, if you want more of a liquid drink add more water.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
- Optional: Add toppings such as chunks of fresh fruit and bee pollen.
