Too often, bath products contain chemical fragrances that we don’t want to use on our skin. Luckily, you can make your own bath products with essential oils and healing, natural ingredients. Eucalyptus has the same effect on the sinuses as many vapor rubs, helping to unclog a stuffy nose so that you can breathe freely, while peppermint eases the aches associated with colds, fevers and muscle pain.

Adding Epsom salts to bath bombs and baths in general is a great way to combat achy joints, improve nerve function and help flush toxins from the body. An Epsom salt bath is also incredibly soothing after a strenuous workout!
To make these DIY bath bombs, combine baking soda, Epsom salts and cream of tartar in a glass mixing bowl. You can also add dried herbs like mint, lavender, rose or even green tea to the mix. Next, add 10 drops each of eucalyptus and peppermint essential oil. Moisten the mixture with a spray bottle filled with water until it sticks, then use a spoon to scoop into molds greased with coconut oil, slightly overfilling the molds. Place one dome-shaped mold on top of the other and squeeze. Set in a cool spot for two hours. Tip: If your bath bombs are hesitant to come out of the mold, run them under hot water for 30 seconds to melt the coconut oil and help loosen them.
When you are ready for a bath, run hot water and add the bath bomb, letting it dissolve and release its calming properties. Relax and inhale. For best results, soak for at least 20 minutes.
