However, when it comes to satiating our chocolatey cravings, we like to go bold. That’s why we’ve developed two simple chocolate recipes that capture a variety of different tastes, textures, and aromas.

Choosing The Right Chocolate:
Dark chocolate offers a big boost of magnesium. When shopping around, make sure the cacao content is at least 75 percent or higher and watch out for refined sugars and dairy. Many Paleo-conscious brands will use natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, and coconut sugar instead.
Helpful Tips To Get You Started:
- Switch up the nuts. If you don’t love pecans, simply swap them out with other nuts like cashews, macadamia nuts, pistachios, or almonds.
- Skip the salt. If you don’t like salt in your dessert, just omit it from the recipe.
- Make it vegan. Swap out the honey for maple syrup to get a more natural subtle taste.
- Keep them cool. Keep the chocolate barks in an air-tight container either in the freezer or refrigerator until ready to serve.
