Chocolate milk gets a healthy makeover with this 3-ingredient drink that stops chocolate cravings in its tracks!
Nothing beats a cold glass of chocolate milk. In this Paleo recipe, almond milk gets blended with soaked dates and cacao powder for a naturally sweet, dairy-free, and vegan beverage. It’s a win-win for the whole family!
Raw cacao powder is an immunity-boosting replacement for cocoa powder in this Paleo chocolate milk. While cocoa powder is heat processed and contains a low concentration of actual cacao, unsweetened raw cacao is made from the unprocessed cacao bean and boasts even higher levels of antioxidants than blueberries!

Full of fiber and other essential minerals, dates give an unbeatable caramel flavor to drinks and desserts. Try using dates to sweeten muffins, quick breads, brownies, and even ice cream.
Creamy almond milk lends its silky dairy-free texture with a mild nutty flavor that lets the chocolate really stand out. Note: You can also use coconut milk or cashew milk.
Start by soaking pitted dates in hot water for 10 minutes. This helps soften the dates so they blend easier. Drain the dates and add them to a blender with almond milk and raw cacao powder. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until velvety and smooth. Then, pour into a glass and drink up!
