Avocado combines with tropical mango, coconut water and mint in this refreshing and creamy smoothie. With heaps of antioxidants and healthy fats, this green avocado smoothie curbs hunger and revitalizes you.
With avocado toast, avocado roses and avocado burger buns making their way to the table, we can’t get enough of this versatile fruit! With its mellow flavor and smooth texture, avocado is the perfect substitute for milk in smoothies to achieve that creamy texture. These green beauties are high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, making avocado a must-add ingredient to your breakfast routine. To up the ante, we also add hydrating coconut water for its potassium boost and raw honey for healthy sweetness. If you can get your hands on some manuka honey, it is well worth the price – it has a higher source of enzymes than regular honey and packs a nice boost of natural antibacterial qualities.
Because avocados are so versatile, the flavor combinations are endless. I went the tropical route with this avocado smoothie by also adding diced mango and fresh mint. Mint adds a refreshing burst of coolness, while mango adds a juicy tang.
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy this elixir right away to enjoy all of the benefits at their most potent state.
