The best thing about this chocolate bark is that anyone can make it! Simply melt the chocolate, add toppings, and freeze into candied confection. Made with wholesome ingredients, it’s the perfect treat to satisfy both sweet and salty cravings.
The base of this recipe uses melted dark chocolate to naturally sweeten and boost antioxidants. For optimal quality, make sure to find a brand that includes at least 75 percent cacao.

The toppings pack a blend of crunchy nuts, seasonings, and natural sweeteners for a melt-in-your-mouth treat. To get started, use a double boiler to melt the chopped chocolate into a smooth consistency. Remove from the heat and stir in the maple syrup. Use a spoon to drop twelve dollops of the mixture onto a prepared baking sheet. Gently spread each dollop into round discs, measuring about two inches in diameter each. Sprinkle the nuts, pomegranate seeds, coconut flakes, sea salt, and matcha on top.
When ready, transfer to the freezer and let it chill for 30 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy or refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to five days.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup finely chopped dark chocolate
- 1/2 fresh pomegranate seeds
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- ¼ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 T maple syrup
- 1 t ground cinnamon
- 1/4 t fine sea salt
- 1 t matcha powder
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Add the chopped chocolate to a double boiler, then stir until melted and smooth (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup.
- Use a spoon to drop the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread each dollop into round discs (about 2 inches in diameter).
- Gently drop a few pomegranate seeds, chopped pecans, coconut flakes, sea salt, and matcha on top.
- Transfer to the freezer for 30 minutes, or until fully solidified. Serve immediately and enjoy!
