Get effortless, ocean-kissed hair using this DIY Beachy Waves Hair Spray made with all-natural ingredients!
Made with three simple ingredients, this spray is safe and easy to use for all hair types. Just spray, scrunch, and dry hair for soft piece-y waves.
Blow-dryers, hair sprays, and gels can leave hair feeling dry and lackluster during warm weather months. Most often, these products contain artificial fragrances that provoke allergy sensitivities. Instead of piling on the chemicals, create this DIY spray that moisturizes as it styles. It leaves hair with soft, laid-back waves that are perfect for on-the-go styling.

Unrefined coconut oil creates a sea-tousled texture that moisturizes sun-dried strands and contains fatty acids to help nourish the scalp. While coconut oil adds a yummy scent to the spray, Epsom salts create natural saltwater waves. You can even substitute Epsom salt for coarse sea salt to achieve similar results.
To get started, combine hot water, coconut oil, and Epsom salts in a 4-ounce spray bottle. Next, secure the lid and shake well to melt the coconut oil and combine the ingredients. Spray onto damp hair and scrunch using your hands. Allow your hair to air dry and enjoy those luscious locks!
Tip: If the spray bottle gets clogged from the coconut oil solidifying at room temperature, just run it under hot water for 30 seconds.
