More protein, less carbs, and all the crunch of your favorite bagel.
Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, these chicken tenders are bursting with flavor. They have the same satisfying crunch of an everything bagel, but with a nice boost of protein instead of carbs!
For the outer layer, dried garlic and onion with toasted sesame seeds give this dish a savory flavor and texture. To keep the chicken juicy and tender, a mix of Paleo mayo and mustard are used for the marinade. Both condiments are simple to make at home (these Paleo mayo and mustard recipes are our favorites!), but you can also purchase trusted brands from your local health food store. When combined with raw honey, the tenders take on a subtle sweetness that blends perfectly with the added seasonings.

To get started, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, and raw honey together in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken tenders together with the wet mixture in a large mixing bowl until the pieces are fully coated.
Next, coat the chicken tenders in the dry seasoning on all sides. Place them on a baking rack on top of a baking sheet. Transfer the tenders to the oven and bake for 40 minutes, making sure to flip halfway through. To ensure the tenders are fully cooked, cut a small incision in the center of a chicken tender to make sure the juices run clear. Once ready, serve alongside Paleo mayonnaise for a delicious snack.
